            Mass media is changing everyday now as technology changes. To help people keep up with the latest changes the New Media & Society journal produces a new journal eight months out the year. The journal brings discusses new media developments and also other things happening in the world in general. This journal is ranked 10 out of 54 top communications journals.
            New Media & Society is an international journal published by SAGE publications. SAGE is a international publishing company. New Media & Society was created to explore the social dynamics of media and information change. The journal engages in discussions of some key issues in the upcoming media development. This journal was developed in 1999. The first issue was published and distributed in April of 1999. If looking for this journal it can be found in the communications, technology, culture and media, or sociology sections. The journal is published during the months of February, March, May, June, August, September, November, and December.
            It has several different types of subscriptions that are available. The first is the institutional subscription combined. This includes access to print and E-access. The cost of this subscription is $1,655 dollars. The institutional subscription with just E-access cost $1,490 dollars. The institutional subscription with just print access cost $1,622 dollars. An individual subscription with just print access cost $91 dollars. If looking to purchase just one individual copy of the journal, the institutional single print issue cost $223 dollars. The individual single print issue cost $15 dollars.
            The journal has a website that allows for you to view the journal on. The site’s url is http://nms.sagepub.com/. Through the site you may view articles or post articles. The site is a basic site; it has a plain white back ground. The home page gives some information on the journal and a few interesting statics about it, such as it being ranked 10 out of 54 in communications. It consists of links from all issues of the journal and links to the articles that are posted on the website and not in the journal itself. You may comment on the articles in the journal on the website.
            Advertising rates for the journal varied depending on size. The company put the size of advertisements into categories. There are three categories Rate code A, Rate code B, and Rate code C. Rate code A cost £600, which is the equivalent of $975.72 U.S. dollars. Rate code B cost £650, which is equal to $1,057.03 in U.S. dollars. Rate code C cost £1050, which is equal to $1,707.51 in U.S. dollars.
